Egyptian artist Ahmed Saad revealed the latest developments in the health condition of his compatriot Tamer Hosny, after visiting him at his home.
The singer of the song "Eh El Yom El Helw Dah" said in a statement on Tuesday that he met Tamer yesterday evening, confirming that his health condition had become much better, adding: "Thank God, he has improved noticeably."
Saad explained in an interview with "Billboard Arabia" that Tamer is still bedridden despite being used to constant movement and activity, pointing out that he is in a clear recovery phase.
He added that Tamer was constantly checking on him after the traffic accident he was involved in a few days ago, despite being preoccupied with his health and the surgery he underwent. He said: "Tamer is a person who lives for people and loves them, and always draws his positive energy from them."
With a sense of humor, Ahmed Saad commented on the coincidence of the health crisis between them, saying: "I slept next to him on the bed and said to him: This is a poster image for our next concert."
It is worth mentioning that Tamer Hosny recently returned to Egypt after undergoing surgery in Germany to remove part of his kidney, following the deterioration of his health, which required urgent intervention and his travel there for treatment under careful medical supervision.
Hosny had reassured his fans a few days ago via his social media accounts, denying any medical error during the operation, and confirming: "I am going through difficult days because it is really a major operation, but thanks to God and then your prayers, I will overcome it. Thank you to everyone who asked about me."
