HIBAPRESS – Casablanca
The African Cup of Nations organizing committee began the field phase of volunteer training inside the stadiums allocated for the championship days ago, after weeks of theoretical training received by thousands of selected individuals from different cities in Morocco and from outside the Kingdom.
This step constitutes a crucial stage in the preparation of the volunteers, who will form a fundamental pillar for the success of the continental event, as they move from the theoretical side to direct interaction with the spaces in which they will work during the competition. These field trainings come to embody the knowledge that the volunteers have gained about the areas of reception, guidance, safety, and logistical organization, where a precise simulation of the tasks they will undertake daily during the matches is carried out. Participants receive practical guidance on how to deal with the flow of the crowds, coordinate with various technical and security teams, and ensure smooth movement within the sports facilities, thus ensuring an organizational experience at the level of the aspirations of African and international fans. The organizing committee confirms that these trainings aim to build an experienced volunteer team capable of responding immediately to the requirements of the organization, noting that the enthusiasm and discipline shown by the volunteers reflect a strong desire to contribute to the success of this edition of the championship. With the advancement of this stage, the committee expects that the field events will provide an opportunity to enhance the readiness of all teams before the start of the continental football celebration.
