HIBAPRESS – Fez
Fatima Zahra, one of the people affected by the disaster of the collapse of two buildings in the city of Fez, expressed the suffering of the families who found themselves without shelter after the accident, confirming that she and her four children have been living in difficult conditions since the moment of the collapse.
The affected person said in a statement to the "HIBAPRESS" website that the families are "thrown in the street" and cannot live in the "shacks" as proposed, demanding an effective solution that guarantees dignity and stability. She added that her children have stopped attending school and spend their days moving between people's houses, while their daily suffering continues. Fatima Zahra explained that she fled with her children at the moment of the collapse and was taken to a hotel, where she faced great difficulties, noting that last night was harsh due to the rain. She concluded her statement by demanding her rights and the rights of the other affected people, stressing the need for urgent intervention to provide decent housing and protection for children.
