Weather: Scorching heat

The General Directorate of National Meteorology has just announced a heat wave with an “orange” alert level, expected today Wednesday July 10, 2024 in several Provinces of the Kingdom, with temperatures varying between 39 and 47°C.
Thus, temperatures ranging between 41 and 45°C are expected in the Provinces of Figuig, Jerada, Zagora, Tinghir, Errachidia and Tata.
Hot weather (39-42°C) is expected in the provinces of Ouezzane, Guercif, Taourirt, Oujda-Angad, Jerada, Figuig, Boulemane, Sefrou, Moulay Yacoub, Taounate, Taza, Fez, Khouribga, Settat, Chichaoua, Youssoufia and Ouarzazate.
The mercury should also show temperatures between 42 and 47 °C in the provinces of Fquih Ben Salah, Béni-Mellal, Kalaàt Sraghna, Marrakech, R’hamna, Khénifra, Zagora, Tinghir, Errachidia, Taroudant, Tata, Assa-Zag, Smara and Aousserd.
