HIBAPRESS – Fikri Ould Ali
As part of the initiative of the "Parliament of Proximity" and defending the right to sport for all, a parliamentarian initiated a written question to the Minister of National Education, Preschool and Sports, regarding the difficult situation in which football clubs affiliated with the league in Al Hoceima province are struggling, especially in the absence of suitable and safe sports transportation.
The question stated that a number of clubs, especially those from mountainous and rural areas, suffer greatly while traveling to play regional and national matches, often using inappropriate means of transportation that exhaust the players and deplete the budgets of the teams, which limits their participation in sporting events and hinders their development. The MP confirmed that the demands of these clubs have been repeated in recent years, without finding a solution, although they form a basic building block in the development of sport in the province. Therefore, he called on the relevant ministry to reveal the urgent measures it intends to take to ensure regular, safe, and organized sports transportation that encourages sports practice and guarantees equal opportunities among all local teams. This step received a positive reaction in the sports circles in Al Hoceima, which hopes that this move will be the beginning of justice for the clubs that are silently struggling to continue football activity in the marginalized areas.
