The National Airports Office revealed a new institutional link bearing the signature Welcome Football, Welcome Fans, less than ten days before the start of the African Cup of Nations (CAN 2025 TotalEnergies), confirming that all the Kingdom's airports are fully mobilized to receive fans, delegations, and national teams in the best conditions.
The National Airports Office clarified in a statement that the Kingdom's airports are at the forefront and intend to play their full role as real gateways to celebrate the 2025 TotalEnergies African Cup of Nations, in cooperation with the local organizing committee and the Confederation of African Football. Thanks to the human and material investments that have been made for more than a year in improving capabilities, modernizing infrastructure, streamlining passenger pathways, and enhancing the qualifications of the crews, Morocco's airports, in close coordination with the Ministry of Interior, the General Directorate of National Security, the Royal Gendarmerie, the Customs and Indirect Taxes Administration, and the Ministry of Transport and Logistics, are now ready to deal with the requirements of a major sporting event that will bring together thousands of fans from different continents. The statement stated that all airports that will host the competitions are establishing an enhanced organization to manage the expected passenger flows, and will allocate guidance spaces, multi-lingual guidance signs, and assistance teams, in addition to establishing continuous operational tracking, to ensure the optimal reception of passengers from their arrival on Moroccan soil. Thus, the 2025 African Cup of Nations gives Morocco the opportunity to showcase the efficiency of its air system and consolidate its position as an African hub for air transport. On this occasion, the institutional link "Welcome Football, Welcome Fans" invites travelers to immerse themselves in the celebratory atmosphere. This link is the unifying thread of the measures being put in place inside the Kingdom's airports, which includes, in particular, a bustling path where fans will discover huge arches, giant prizes, illuminated tunnels, and interactive spaces for fans.
