The General Consulate of the Kingdom of Morocco in Palermo has launched a new communication initiative under the slogan "Your Consulate is Closer to You," which aims to strengthen communication channels with members of the Moroccan community residing in Sicily, and to bring consular services closer to users through modern and simplified mechanisms.
This initiative, which was launched under the guidance of the Consul General, Maryam Nasif, comes within the framework of adopting an innovative communication approach based on producing short introductory capsules that are broadcast weekly, and include simplified explanations of various consular services, along with clarifying administrative procedures and required documents, which contributes to facilitating access to information and reducing the constraints associated with administrative procedures. It is expected that these capsules will be published every Friday evening, including practical data of interest to members of the Moroccan community, in line with a trend aimed at modernizing consular communication tools and keeping pace with the expectations of Moroccan citizens residing abroad. This initiative has been widely welcomed by the Moroccan community residing in Sicily, who have expressed their positive interaction with this new communication method, considering it a practical step that contributes to clarifying administrative procedures and bringing the administration closer to the citizen, and reflects the consulate's keenness to listen to the concerns of the community and keep pace with its needs. This initiative is part of a broader dynamic in which the General Consulate in Palermo is involved, which aims to improve the quality of consular services and enhance administrative proximity, in light of the growing interest in digital content of an informative and service-oriented nature.
