HIBAPRESS – Abdellatif Baraka
The United States has announced a financial reward of up to $10 million for anyone who provides information leading to the identification or location of members of the Iranian "Shahid Shushtari" network, accused of carrying out cyberattacks targeting critical American infrastructure. This decision comes within the framework of the "Rewards for Justice" program of the US Department of State, to counter cyber activities associated with foreign governments.
Washington is pursuing both Mohammad Baqer Shirinkar and Fatemeh Sedighian Kashi, considering them among the most prominent elements of the network linked to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, which is suspected of involvement in attacks that caused significant damage to vital sectors in the United States, Europe, and the Middle East, in addition to attempts to influence the 2020 US elections.
