HIBAPRESS
The Egyptian artist Mohamed Ramadan responded to the ruling against him, which sentenced him to two years in prison, confirming that he does not intend to allow this ruling to affect his artistic career or his connection with his audience.
Ramadan posted a video clip via his official accounts on social media, accompanied by a post in which he said that he apologizes to his family, friends, and fans for the news circulating in Egyptian courts and the press for more than seven years, pointing out that these news did not leave a month without the appearance of prison sentences against him, even reaching his young son.
Ramadan addressed the latest case related to his song, clarifying that he has a censorship permit to display the song, and that he is not its author, and despite that, a sentence was issued against him with a suspended sentence, stressing that the media did not clarify this aspect, and that the goal of media coverage was an attempt to harm him and his family.
Ramadan concluded his post by confirming his love for his homeland and his passion for its soil, expressing his trust in God and the continuity of his rising success, and stressing that these crises will not stop his artistic activity or his connection with his audience.
