HIBAPRESS – c. Mahyaoui
The services of the Ministry of Equipment and Water, in coordination with the local authorities, have succeeded in opening the road leading to the Anfgou clinic, following the continuous efforts made by its technical teams to overcome the difficulties and obstacles resulting from the heavy snowfall and harsh climatic conditions that the region has witnessed in recent days.
This emergency intervention contributed to breaking the isolation of the residents of the Anfgou region, which is affiliated with the Midelt province, and ensuring citizens' access to basic health services, especially emergency cases that were threatened due to the interruption of road routes. The Ministry mobilized its heavy machinery and field teams to remove snow and open the road section in record time, within the framework of a proactive approach aimed at ensuring road safety and ensuring the continuity of vital public facilities, foremost of which are health institutions. This intervention was highly appreciated by the residents of Anfgou, who praised the efforts made by the various interveners, calling for the strengthening of road infrastructure in the region to reduce the recurrence of such isolation, especially during the winter. This intervention comes within the framework of the Ministry of Equipment and Water's keenness to improve accessibility in the rural and mountainous world, and to enshrine the principle of spatial justice, which guarantees the right of citizens to move and benefit from basic services in various circumstances.
