An unidentified person died on Monday evening following a fatal traffic accident on the national road, near a hotel in the Sidi Harazem commune.
According to local sources, the victim was hit by an unidentified car before its driver fled to an unknown destination, leaving the victim in a pool of blood. He sustained serious injuries and fractures that led to his death at the scene. Upon learning of the accident, elements of the Royal Gendarmerie arrived at the scene, accompanied by local authorities, where the scene was cordoned off, the body was examined, and a judicial investigation was opened under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor's office, in order to uncover the circumstances of the accident. The investigation also aims to identify the victim, as well as identify the driver responsible for the accident and arrest him to bring him before justice, pending the outcome of the ongoing investigations.
