The General Directorate of National Security and the General Directorate for the Surveillance of National Territory have deployed units of special forces motorcycle riders to participate in the security system for securing the Africa Cup of Nations football competitions hosted by our country starting December 21, 2025.
These units, transferred from the special forces, have been equipped with high-powered motorcycles bearing the visual identity of the special forces, to enable them to move quickly in various security situations and allow for urgent intervention to ensure an immediate security response. These mobile units from the special forces, equipped with advanced motorcycles, have been deployed in many urban areas to enhance the security coverage for the Africa Cup of Nations football competitions.
