HIBAPRESS – A. Sayyad
With the launch of the 2025 African Cup of Nations, the most prominent artists of the African continent have released their new song "Rise Up Africa," which represents a unified anthem that reflects the spirit of solidarity and collective pride of the African continent.
The musical work brings together a group of distinguished artists, including the Moroccan Ilam Jay, the global star Stonebwoy, the Togolese duo Toofan, the rising artist residing in New York Amira Jay, and the multi-talented Moroccan artist Ghita El Hammasi, to form a single musical painting that reflects the diversity of cultures and musical languages in Africa. The song is not just an artistic work, but a musical message expressing Africa's ability to unite in one voice despite the multiplicity of its languages and cultures. Each artist contributed his experience and his own musical style, to highlight a harmonious mix of rhythms and styles, reflecting the power of music as a universal language that transcends borders. The work was produced by JayVibe Records – Rise the Nation, and was recorded at Marrakech Media Village Studios, while the lyrics were written by Ilam Jay, Toofan, and Stonebwoy, and the composition and direction were handled by Ilam Jay. The song lasted for 3 minutes and 34 seconds, and combined English, Moroccan Arabic dialect, and French in an Afro-Pop style, making it a global musical message that reaches various parts of the continent and the world. The song was officially released on December 19, 2025, to become the official unified voice of the African continent during the continental championship, confirming the ability of art and music to bring people together and promote the spirit of unity and solidarity.
