HIBAPRESS – Marrakech: Mohamed Daher
The work of a private company laying sewage pipes in a housing project on Prince Moulay Abdellah Street, on the Asfi road near the American restaurant (McDonald's), caused damage to drinking water pipes, leading to a large water leak that necessitated cutting off water to many residential neighborhoods, such as Jnane Ourad and Hay Mabrouka.
The Regional Multi-Service Company is racing against time to repair the damage and secure the supply of drinking water to residential neighborhoods, amid rising protests from citizens over this sudden outage. Sources close to the newspaper did not rule out that the multi-service company of the Marrakech-Safi region, the party responsible for the damage and the sudden water outage, will be fined a significant amount of money as compensation for this incident.
