The General Directorate of Meteorology expects, today Tuesday, that the weather in general will be relatively cold to cold and accompanied by frost, over the Atlas Mountains, the Rif, and the high plateaus.
It is expected that the sky will be partly cloudy over the northern half of the country, with rain or showers over the Atlantic Ocean plains extending north of El Jadida. It is also expected to rain or other showers during the night over the Atlas Mountains, the Rif, Sais, as well as over the phosphate and diamond plateaus, in addition to snowfall over the peaks of the Atlas Mountains, with the recording of somewhat strong wind gusts on the northern coasts of the Atlantic Ocean. Minimum temperatures will range between minus 06 and minus 01 degrees in the Atlas Mountains, and between minus 01 and 04 degrees in the Rif, the Eastern and South-Eastern regions of the country, and between 08 and 13 degrees in the south, and near the coasts, and will be between 04 and 08 degrees in the rest of the regions. Temperatures during the day will witness some slight increase, or will remain unchanged. The sea will be calm to slightly choppy on the Mediterranean and the Strait of Gibraltar, and slightly choppy to rough along the Atlantic coast.
