Starting Tuesday, fuel prices in Morocco recorded a noticeable decrease in a number of fuel stations. The remaining stations are expected to generalize these reductions over the next two days with the start of the new Gregorian year.
Professional sources explained that the price of one liter of premium gasoline decreased by 44 cents, while diesel recorded a decrease of 65 cents, bringing prices in some stations close to 12 dirhams for gasoline and 10 dirhams for diesel, with a slight variation between cities and companies. The same sources confirmed that these reductions come within the framework of the policies of the distributing companies and are an important step before the beginning of the new year, after a period during which prices witnessed stability or a varying increase during the past months, in light of Morocco's continued import of fuels.
