In a tragic incident, a case of drowning of an 11-year-old child was recorded today, Saturday, July 13, on the beach of the Marina tourist resort in the city of Saidia. According to sources, the accident occurred while the child was in the water with two of his friends and he could not survive despite rescue attempts.
Local Civil Protection rescue teams rushed to the scene immediately after receiving the report and were able to save two of the children, but the third could not survive and was recovered too late.
Local authorities have opened an investigation to find out the details of the incident and take necessary measures to prevent similar incidents from happening again.
