HIBAPRESS
The artist Mohamed Ramadan surprised his audience with a strange act during the World Cup tour ceremony in Cairo, where he suddenly stopped singing and asked to change his shoe in front of everyone. Ramadan raised his foot above the speakers, calling out to his assistants sharply: "Where is my white Nike shoe?", justifying this with mockery of the "stylist" who made a mistake and put him on high-heeled shoes that resemble "women's shoes" as he described, then one of the assistants appeared and bowed to change his shoe amid the bewilderment of the audience.
This scene sparked a wave of widespread anger on social media platforms, as followers considered that Ramadan's behavior lacked tact, especially forcing an assistant to bow down to tie his shoe in front of the cameras. Many criticized the artist's deliberate attempt to cause a stir, stressing that he could have changed his shoe behind the scenes without embarrassing his work team or turning the artistic performance into a scene that some see as "insulting." This crisis comes at the same time as a legal predicament facing Ramadan, after an Egyptian court upheld a two-year prison sentence against him for publishing musical content without a license. Despite this, Ramadan came out in a video to reassure his concert organizers in America, denying that his artistic activity was affected, and considering that the attacks against him in Egypt are a kind of "motivation" from his country, which fears for him from arrogance, stressing the continuation of his artistic tours despite all the noise.
