The Wali of the Fez-Meknes region, Khalid Ait Taleb, received this evening the members of the local committee that oversaw the organization of the tournament matches in the city, where he congratulated them on the work he described as strong and tremendous, praising the great role played by the various stakeholders in the success of this continental event.
During this meeting, the Wali praised the level of coordination that characterized the work of the local committee, and the serious involvement of the various security, administrative, and concerned sectors, stressing that what was achieved in Fez reflects the city's ability to host major sporting events according to high organizational standards.
HIBAPRESS had previously indicated in an article that Fez hosted a number of matches of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in an atmosphere characterized by discipline and tight organization, with a significant public presence in a number of matches, which contributed to adding a special momentum to the competitions, and reflected the passion of the local and incoming fans for football.
