Walid Regragui, the coach of the Moroccan national team, confirmed the readiness of some of the team's players before the match against Cameroon, scheduled for Friday at 20:00 GMT+1, as part of the quarter-finals of the Africa Cup of Nations.
During the press conference held this Thursday morning, Regragui said: “We have Hamza IGMOUAN back, although he could have returned in the last match, but we benefited from five additional days to confirm his return.” Regragui addressed the condition of midfielder Amrabat, indicating that his ankle injury prevents him from being fully prepared, and he added: "Whether we will rely on him at the beginning or during the match, we will see." The Moroccan coach also announced that defender Saiss is recovering well, confirming that this is the latest developments regarding the players' injuries before the anticipated match.
