HIBAPRESS – c. sayyad
In celebration of the Amazigh New Year 2976, the Association of Culture, Arts, and Sports Forum is organizing a major artistic evening entitled "Rhythms of the Middle Atlas," on the evening of Wednesday, January 14th, at the Mohammed V Theatre, in partnership with the Ministry of Youth, Culture, and Communication.
The organizers chose for this edition to bear the name of the icon of Amazigh song, Hadda Ouakki, in recognition of her distinguished artistic career and her pioneering role in the radiance of Amazigh song, especially at a time when the presence of women in this field faced several challenges. The ceremony will honor a number of prominent names, including the Minister of Economic Inclusion, Small Enterprises, Employment and Skills, Younes Sekkouri, along with the artist Saadia Ladib and the artist Mohamed Khiyi, in appreciation of their contributions, each in their field of expertise. This cultural event will also propose a diverse artistic program that celebrates the richness of the Amazigh heritage in the Middle Atlas, through musical performances that bring together three artistic generations, represented by Bouazza El Arabi, Mustapha Chahbouni, and Badr Ouabi, in addition to Ahidous performances, in affirmation of the continuity of Amazigh song and its inheritance between generations. This event comes within the framework of consolidating the culture of recognizing artistic and cultural symbols, and introducing the diversity and richness of the Amazigh heritage, through an artistic event that combines authenticity and renewal.
