Hossam Hassan, the coach of the Egyptian national team, continued his provocative statements towards Moroccans during the press conference preceding the Pharaohs' match against Nigeria to determine the third-place finisher in the African Cup of Nations.
Hossam Hassan said, during his speech at the press conference before the match, that his country's team reached the semi-finals away from home, while the Moroccan team, which played on its home ground and in front of its fans, qualified for the final by penalty kicks. Hossam Hassan added, "We don't expect anyone to cheer for us or not cheer for us," in a statement that carries hatred and ingratitude, after the Moroccan fans supported the Pharaohs in their matches in the CAN, as all the appropriate conditions were provided for this team during the continental tournament.
