HIBAPRESS – Mohammed Manfalouti
The Secretary-General of the Popular Movement Party, Mohammed Ouzine, praised the quick, positive, and responsible response of the Minister of National Education, Preschool and Sports, to his written question submitted yesterday, Thursday, which aimed to postpone the certification exams due to their coinciding with the final match of the Africa Cup of Nations played by the Moroccan national team.
Ouzine described, in a thank-you letter addressed to the Minister of Education, the decision to postpone the exams as wise, reflecting a high national sense, and recalling the educational and psychological dimensions associated with this exceptional event, as it enabled students to participate in the atmosphere of national joy, and at the same time allowed them a suitable time to focus and prepare well to pass these academic entitlements in the best conditions. Ouzine stressed that this historic continental final will undoubtedly be a strong moral incentive for our students to embrace excellence and diligence, and to strive to achieve superiority and crowning in the certification exams, reflecting the spirit of victory, ambition and determination embodied by the national team, and translating the positive values that combine sports success and academic excellence. The Ministry of National Education, Preschool and Sports had postponed the unified certification exams to January 20 and 21, 2026 instead of January 19 and 20, 2026, which were previously programmed, in the primary and secondary preparatory education sectors, with the rescheduling of continuous control tests, due to their coinciding with the final match of the African Cup of Nations 2025, which the Moroccan national team will play on January 18, 2026, recalling the importance of this continental football event that is widely followed by students and their families and in order to give them the opportunity to follow the stages of this final match and support the Moroccan national team.
