The General Directorate of Meteorology stated that the weather today, Tuesday, will be characterized by cold weather in the Atlas Mountains, the Rif, the southeast of the country, and the high plateaus, with snowfall above the peaks of the High and Middle Atlas and the Rif. This snowfall will be light over the high plateaus.
Rain or showers will also be observed in the Atlantic plains extending north of Essaouira, the Tangier region, Loukkos, the Rif, Sais, the High and Middle Atlas, as well as the western regions adjacent to them. Partially cloudy conditions will prevail with scattered rain drops in the eastern region and the northwest of the Saharan provinces of the Kingdom, with strong wind gusts recorded in the eastern region and the Mediterranean front, and somewhat strong in the Souss region and the southern coasts, where they will be accompanied by local dust. The minimum temperatures will range between 9 and 2 degrees in the High and Middle Atlas, between 6 and 13 degrees in the south and near the coasts, and between 0 and 6 degrees in the rest of the Kingdom. The sea will be rough to very rough on the Mediterranean front, slightly rough to rough in the Strait of Gibraltar, and rough to very rough along the Atlantic coast.
