Abdelilah Benkirane, the Secretary-General of the Justice and Development Party, called on citizens to register in the electoral lists, considering it a national duty and a fundamental responsibility that allows citizens to contribute to choosing the officials who will manage government affairs.
Benkirane affirmed in a video clip broadcast on his Facebook page that participation in political life is capable of creating multiple opportunities, stressing that registration in the electoral lists represents the main entry point that gives citizens the right to influence the course of the country's management and choose those who run elected institutions. The Secretary-General of the Justice and Development Party explained that a number of citizens were hoping for a new registration period in the electoral lists, calling in this context on the Minister of Interior and the Head of Government to issue a law regarding registration in these lists.
