The government council, chaired by Aziz Akhannouch, approved on Friday a draft decree amending and supplementing the decree regulating the disbursement of rewards and grants in ancient education institutions. This involves increasing the value of the student grant allocated to students, in addition to increasing the monthly rewards given to the employees of these institutions.
A statement from the Ministry Delegate in charge of Relations with Parliament explained that this decision falls within the framework of qualifying ancient education, considering its role in supporting economic and social development, and contributing to the generalization of education and combating school dropout, as well as raising school enrollment rates and reducing illiteracy. This measure aims to encourage attendance at ancient education institutions and incentivize access to them, by improving the material conditions of educational staff and students, which enhances the stability of this sector and improves the quality of its educational services.
