Kuwaiti writer and media personality, Yousef Al-Omairi, said that the international praise for the success of the 35th edition of the Africa Cup of Nations 2025 is a clear recognition of Morocco's ability to organize various continental and international events.
Al-Omairi explained in a statement to the Moroccan News Agency that this success is a fundamental building block for highlighting African football as an attractive product suitable for investment. On the other hand, the speaker mentioned that Morocco, under the leadership of King Mohammed VI, has consistently called for solidarity among African peoples and the strengthening of ties of brotherhood in order to face the economic, social, and cultural challenges facing the continent. Al-Omairi, who also serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kuwaiti news platform “Khalijioon”, concluded that “the Kingdom's compass was and will remain directed towards a unified, reconciled, and proud Africa.”
