The explosion of a garbage truck tire in Casablanca killed one person and injured two others last night, Wednesday.

According to private data, a truck belonging to a cleaning company in Casablanca was heading towards the landfill before its driver was surprised by the explosion of one of its wheels, causing him to lose the ability to control his steering wheel and hitting a car that was on the road in front of him.

The truck driver tried to avoid hitting other cars before crashing into a power pole. The accident resulted in the death of one person and the injury of two others, prompting the Harawiyin gendarmerie to open an investigation into the incident.
