The former Head of Government, Abdelilah Benkirane, attended the funeral of the retired artist Abd El Hadi Belkhayat, where he offered condolences to the family of the deceased and the artistic community, expressing his appreciation for his career and prominent contributions to the national artistic scene.
Benkirane pointed out that the deceased, despite his rich artistic career, chose in the last phase of his life to dedicate himself to obedience and good deeds, reflecting a spiritual transformation and his choice to follow the path of faith. He added that Abd El Hadi Belkhayat had a cheerful spirit and a distinctive artistic sense, and was always close to his colleagues and friends, noting that he visited him several times at his home and exchanged affection and respect with him. Benkirane continued that the most important moment in a person's life is the moment of meeting with God, wishing the deceased mercy and forgiveness, and that God would grant him the vastness of Paradise, stressing that Abd El Hadi Belkhayat's artistic and humanitarian legacy will remain present in the Moroccan conscience.
