Douar Oulad El Khair, affiliated with the municipality of Mekkaren in the Kenitra region, witnessed a difficult night after the local authorities were forced to implement a precautionary evacuation operation for a number of residents, due to the sudden rise in water levels as a result of the heavy rainfall that the region experienced.
According to local sources, this operation came as a precautionary measure to avoid any potential risks that may threaten the safety of the residents, especially given the proximity of some homes to waterways and points of accumulation of torrents. The affected families were transported to safe places, in coordination between the local authorities and elements of the Civil Defense, amid an alert for the various concerned services.
