Security services in the city of Imzouren, in the Al Hoceima province, managed today, Thursday, to arrest a person suspected of involvement in a case related to the possession and trafficking of narcotic pills, after his arrival in the city from Tangier.
According to available data, the arrest operation resulted in the seizure of over 500 hallucinogenic pills in the possession of the suspect, before he was taken to the headquarters of the competent department, in order to subject him to the necessary investigations and inquiries.
It is expected that the arrested individual will be placed under police custody, by order of the competent public prosecution, in order to deepen the investigation with him and reveal the source of the seized pills, as well as to determine if he has any potential connections with other individuals active in the field of drug and psychotropic trafficking.
This operation comes in the context of security efforts aimed at combating the trafficking of drugs and psychotropic substances in various areas of the Al Hoceima province.
