HIBAPRESS – Fikri Ouldali
More than 11 families in the village of Oulassen, belonging to the municipality of Ounane in the province of Chefchaouen, were forced to leave their homes after they were subjected to serious collapses as a result of the bad weather and heavy rainfall that the region witnessed in recent days.
The affected families found themselves in a difficult humanitarian situation, after losing their homes and essential belongings, in the absence of shelter and necessary support. Local sources indicated that many families left the area in harsh conditions, without adequate bedding, clothing or supplies, in search of shelter to protect them from the dangers of the cold and climate fluctuations. This situation reflects a state of social fragility suffered by the population, where some families chose to leave towards unspecified destinations, fleeing the danger of collapse and in the interest of their safety, pending the intervention of the concerned authorities to provide the necessary support and relief.
