In a rapid field response to the repercussions of the recent floods, and based on the instructions of the Governor of Kenitra Province, the local authorities began, on Sunday morning, the process of preparing a space designated for the establishment of an emergency camp to shelter the affected families, in the vicinity of the equestrian club, for the benefit of the residents of the M'karen and Keffifat areas.

Under the supervision of the head of the Third Administrative Annex, the authorities harnessed significant logistical and technical capabilities, including heavy machinery such as bulldozers and trucks, which were used to level the ground, clean the space, and unload large quantities of soil and sand (rubble), with the aim of preparing a safe and prepared site to receive tents in conditions that ensure safety and stability. In the same context, the equestrian club witnessed the arrival of important logistical support, represented by eight trucks loaded with a total of 1055 tents, which were unloaded and placed inside secure halls and spaces, pending the start of their installation according to the approved organization, in a way that meets the needs of the affected families and guarantees their dignity. This process took place in an atmosphere of tight field coordination, in the presence of the head of the Third Administrative Annex, in addition to officials from the development company, security services, and employees of the Kenitra Province, which reflects the degree of readiness and comprehensive mobilization of the various interveners. As part of a close field follow-up, the Governor of Kenitra Province, this morning, paid an inspection visit to the camp site, accompanied by the Wali of Kenitra Security, the Regional Commander of the Royal Gendarmerie, the Pasha of Kenitra, the head of the Al-Maamoura Urban District, and the head of the Third Administrative Annex, to closely review the progress of the preparation works and the preparations underway to receive the affected families. Workers from the "Micomar" company also participated in the operation, as they were assigned to transport and unload the tents and place them inside a hall designated for storage and supply, within the framework of a tight logistical organization aimed at accelerating the pace of equipping the camp and ensuring the proper management of the accommodation process. This operation is still ongoing until now, under the supervision of the head of the Al-Maamoura Urban District, within the framework of a proactive approach that aims to alleviate the effects of the floods, accelerate the pace of intervention, and ensure the safety of the affected population in light of the weather fluctuations that Kenitra Province is experiencing. This field intervention embodies the extent of the involvement and responsibility shown by the local and regional authorities, through the provision of emergency and effective solutions, reflecting their keenness to protect citizens and respond quickly to the aftermath of natural disasters.
