HIBAPRESS – By Abdellatif El Baz – Italy Office
Coinciding with the opening of the Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games, the Moroccan presence stands out as an active part of this global sporting event, through models that reflect the diversity of roles of the Moroccan community in Italy.
At the forefront, the young woman, Hiba Najid, a player for the "Eva Milan" club, shone by carrying the Olympic torch, in a symbolic moment that embodies the ambition of the rising Moroccan generation and the role of young women in the European sports scene. On the level of organization and responsibility, the activist Tariq Benour participated within the Italian civil protection teams, contributing his experience and voluntary commitment to the success of this event, embodying the values of integration and societal giving. The participation of these two models reflects an honorable image of the Moroccan community in Italy, which combines the ambition of youth and field experience, and confirms its positive presence in international forums.
