HIBAPRESS
Coastal fishing boats in the port of Larache partially resumed their activity starting Monday evening, following the noticeable improvement in the sea conditions on the Atlantic coast.
The fishermen welcomed this decision with great relief and optimism, especially after a period of suspension and irregular fishing trips since the beginning of last November, due to the succession of weather depressions that affected the region. In this context, a number of fishermen began the necessary preparations for sailing, where they worked on preparing the nets, arranging the boxes, and preparing quantities of ice, in addition to checking the mechanical condition of the boats, in preparation for returning to the sea after weeks of stopping due to strong winds and high sea waves.
