The Criminal Court of First Instance at the Court of Appeal in Marrakech ruled on Tuesday to convict the accused nicknamed "Weld Al-Maiter" on the basis of his involvement in a case related to premeditated murder of a young man in his twenties, in the Sidi Youssef Ben Ali neighborhood.
The court issued a death sentence against the accused, who committed a heinous murder against a twenty-year-old, immediately after his release from prison, where he served a prison sentence related to premeditated murder. The details of this case go back to the night of Sunday, December 7th, when the Sidi Youssef Ben Ali neighborhood was shaken by a serious murder that left a state of shock and anxiety among the residents, and a large security mobilization around the incident.
