HIBAPRESS – E. Al-Samlali
The Moroccan comedian Mohamed Bassou is preparing to break the monotony of the Ramadan season with an intense and different dose of purposeful laughter, promising his audience a comedic experience that goes beyond mere entertainment.
Through his new series "Podcast for Sale," Bassou appears with a renewed artistic vision that combines his familiar wit with constructive criticism, offering humorous situations wrapped in a warm Ramadan character that touches the daily lives of the Moroccan viewer and draws from its simple details rich material for humor and intelligence. This series comes in eight focused episodes, in which Bassou chose to venture into "socio-political" comedy in a satirical and unique style, highlighting issues that concern society, from politics to life contradictions. "Podcast for Sale" is a mirror that reflects reality with boldness and objectivity, where daily ironies turn into material for satirical criticism that makes the viewer think and laugh at the same time, through which Bassou emphasizes that comedy is the highest tool for dissecting social phenomena and addressing them in a joyful spirit. To ensure closeness to his audience base, Bassou chose the "YouTube" platform to be the stage for this work, where the series meets viewers every Saturday and Wednesday at seven o'clock in the evening. With a slogan that opens the door to dialogue, Bassou invites his followers to be part of the discussion by activating the bell and subscribing to the channel, confirming that the opinions of the public are the real fuel for creativity, because opinion in his satirical philosophy is always "for sale" for free discussion and direct interaction that enriches the content and makes it close to the pulse of the street.
