HIBAPRESS
Moroccan artist Saad Lamjarred captured attention in his latest appearance on social media platforms, sparking a wave of questions about the nature of his upcoming project, which seems to bear a completely different signature than what the audience is used to.
Through a series of photos from the behind-the-scenes of an anticipated artistic work, "Almaalem" appeared with a different charisma, presiding over the work team from behind the camera lens, in clear indications that suggest his taking the artistic lead of the project, which excited the followers who were accustomed to seeing him as a shining star in the Arab pop sky, only to be surprised today as he tests the tools of image making from a new technical and creative angle. What strengthened the hypothesis of Lamjarred's foray into the world of directing is that ambiguous comment in which he chose precise words, describing the experience as "a new story that will be told soon… for the first time behind the camera", in a reference that critics and followers considered an implicit announcement of the birth of a director who aspires to develop his artistic tools. This bold step reflects the desire of the Moroccan star for continuous renewal and not to be satisfied with the achieved singing successes, but to strive to expand his creative horizons to include the integrated visual vision, which puts his audience in a state of extreme anticipation waiting to reveal the details of this transformation that may constitute a qualitative turning point in his professional career.
