HIBAPRESS – Youssef Aqdhah
The regional authorities in Jerada launched this Sunday morning the distribution of "Ramadan 1447" food baskets for needy families, under the supervision of the Governor of Jerada, Abdelslam El Hattach. This took place at the Dar Al-Talib wa Taliba (Student Residence), as part of the national initiative overseen by the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.
This operation at the regional level follows the official launch of the national "Ramadan 1447" operation by King Mohammed VI, yesterday Saturday in the city of Salé, in a humanitarian initiative aimed at supporting vulnerable groups and strengthening the values of solidarity and social cohesion across the various regions of the Kingdom. A total of 14,800 beneficiaries in the Jerada region have benefited from this initiative, distributed between urban and rural areas, with 4,910 beneficiaries in urban areas and 9,890 beneficiaries in rural areas, distributed across the various territorial communities of the region. The distribution operation was organized in the presence of heads of external services and representatives of local and security authorities, in an atmosphere marked by seriousness and a sense of responsibility, with comprehensive mobilization to ensure the smooth running of the operation in appropriate organizational conditions, guaranteeing the arrival of aid to its rightful recipients smoothly and in respect of eligibility criteria. This initiative falls within the ongoing efforts to alleviate the living burdens on low-income families during the holy month, and it also reflects the deep social dimension that characterizes the Moroccan model in the field of solidarity, and embodies the continuous care for vulnerable groups through sustainable humanitarian social programs.
