During the raid and inspection, the committee was able to find quantities of white meat and other food products in unhealthy conditions, which, after examination, proved to be unfit for consumption and pose a real danger to the health of citizens. This operation resulted in the seizure of approximately 450 kilograms of rotten meat, which was destroyed in accordance with the procedures in place, in order to avoid its re-promotion or leakage to the market. In the same context, the competent authorities prepared legal records against the owner of the shop, pending the completion of the necessary legal procedures and taking the necessary action against him, in accordance with the laws in force. This operation falls within the continuous efforts made by the local authorities and the competent services to enhance the monitoring of the quality and safety of food products, and to protect the health of consumers, especially with the intensification of monitoring operations on various commercial stores.
