HIBAPRESS – A. Mahyaoui
As part of monitoring the development dynamic in the Sidi Slimane province, the governor of the province, Idriss Roubio, conducted a field visit today, Friday, to the city of Sidi Yahya El Gharb, dedicated to assessing the progress of several ongoing projects and reviewing the progress of projects under construction.
The visit included inspecting projects related to the rehabilitation of infrastructure, improving the urban landscape, and strengthening public facilities, within a context aimed at ensuring adherence to the specified schedule and the adopted quality standards. The occasion also provided an opportunity to assess the level of progress of the works in the field and to monitor any technical or administrative constraints that might affect the pace of implementation, while providing the necessary guidance to overcome them. This step falls within an approach that adopts field presence as a basic mechanism to accelerate the implementation of development programs and enhance coordination between various stakeholders, including local authorities, elected officials, and technical departments, thereby establishing effective governance based on continuous monitoring and evaluation. The regional official relies through these regular visits on establishing a balanced development dynamic that meets the needs of the population, especially in terms of developing basic infrastructure and upgrading the quality of public services, which contributes to improving living conditions and enhancing the attractiveness of the city. This initiative reflects a trend aimed at consolidating a culture of proximity and field accountability, as it is a basic entry point to ensure the effectiveness of projects and achieve a tangible impact on the level of local development.
