The Bahraini Ministry of Interior announced the death of a person and the injury of two others due to the fall of missile shrapnel that was intercepted.
The ministry clarified, in a statement on Monday, March 2nd, that a fire broke out in a foreign ship under maintenance in Salman Industrial City (northeast of the country) due to the fall of missile shrapnel that was intercepted, which resulted in the death of an Asian worker and the injury of two others with serious injuries, noting that the fire was brought under control and extinguished. The General Command of the Bahrain Defence Force had previously confirmed that air defense systems had intercepted Iranian attacks, with a total of 61 missiles and 34 drones successfully destroyed and shot down.
