The Israeli Ministry of Health announced that more than 1050 people who sought refuge in hospitals were injured as a result of the Iranian strikes.
The ministry clarified in an official statement that 102 people are still staying in emergency departments or undergoing treatment, their cases are distributed between 4 serious injuries, half of which are not directly related to the fall of missiles, 21 moderate cases, and 75 others minor, in addition to two cases under medical evaluation. In the past twenty-four hours, 289 injured people were evacuated to hospitals, including 19 moderate cases, 258 minor cases, 8 cases of panic, and 4 under evaluation. These figures came in the context of escalating tensions between the two countries, as the Israeli health authorities continue to monitor the field situation and provide updated reports on the number of injured. In parallel, the ministry issued a special appeal to the elderly to move slowly and cautiously towards fortified places, asking neighbors and their families to help them identify the nearest shelter and practice reaching it before the sirens go off, to avoid repeated falls among this group.
