Big names will be present from the benches of some nations. France is led by Thierry Henry, a French football legend and Olympic torchbearer, while Argentina’s Javier Mascherano, a two-time Olympic champion, will try to become the first man to win the men’s Olympic football tournament as a player and then as a coach.

Javier Mascherano won two gold medals with Argentina at Athens 2004 and Beijing 2008.
