US President Donald Trump said that his country will cut off all its trade relations with Spain because it did not allow the use of its lands in the war against Iran.
Trump added to reporters at the White House on the sidelines of a meeting with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz today, Tuesday, that he was "dissatisfied with Britain's position regarding Iran," while pointing out that Germany "allowed our planes to land in certain areas and we appreciate that." He continued that "all trade relations with Spain will be cut off," expressing his displeasure with Britain as well, stressing that Iran was "preparing to attack Israel and other countries, and that the missiles that are raining down today were pre-aimed." He explained that the strikes in Iran are currently widespread and that the regime no longer has any air protection, noting that the United States possesses "a huge stockpile of ammunition and weapons." Regarding security measures, Trump explained that "there is no evacuation plan for the embassies because the matter happened very quickly," accusing Iran of "killing people for a very long time and was the sponsor of IEDs," adding that "95% of the IEDs in the region come from Iran," and that Iran "has been a sponsor of terrorism in the world for years and something had to be done." The US president concluded by indicating his expectation that "oil prices will return to fall by the end of this war."
