HIBAPRESS – I. Elsmalali
Artist Amr Saad created a stir in the artistic circles with his recent statements in which he settled the controversy over the hierarchy of stars in the Arab world, confirming that he represents today the highest marketing value in the entire Arab region and not only in the local Egyptian scope.
Saad explained that this entitlement is not just a claim, but a digital reality well understood by major platforms, production companies, and television stations that deal with the language of the market. While he indicated that he had chosen silence for many years towards what is written and said, he found that the time had come to declare the truth, especially after the media personality Amr Adib pointed to this matter based on documented information, confirming that honesty in this context is a duty to respect the intelligence of the audience and the artistic community.
With this pride in digital success, Saad presented a balanced reading of the concept of stardom, as he clearly separated between "marketing value" and "artistic superiority," considering that his leading position on the wage list does not give him a certificate of absolute superiority, as art in his view accommodates everyone and does not tolerate rigid comparisons.
Regarding the details of the competition in the Ramadan 2026 season in which he participates in the series "Release," Saad described the idea of the dramatic conflict as a "lie" created by social media platforms to increase interaction, while he himself sees himself far from these narrow calculations, focusing his energy on developing his cinematic and dramatic project in a way that befits his audience, believing that personal diligence and a futuristic vision are the real drivers of any artist who seeks to leave an impact that lasts long after the noise of numbers.
