The services of the Satat security directorate managed to arrest nine people, including one minor, as well as seize a collection of bladed weapons, after they appeared in video clips published on social media pages exchanging violence using bladed weapons in the public street, in circumstances that would affect the security of citizens and endanger the safety of people and property.
The same sources added that the search procedures carried out in light of this video, with which the security services interacted seriously and quickly, showed that the matter involved a conflict between two groups affiliated with fan factions of sports clubs, which developed into exchanging violence and throwing stones.
Technical investigations and field investigations resulted in the arrest of the suspects, subjecting the adults among them to custody, while the detained minor was kept under monitoring, pending the judicial investigation being conducted under the supervision of the competent Public Prosecution, while investigations and inquiries continue with the aim of arresting the remaining potential suspects in this case.
