HIBAPRESS
The authorities of the Algeciras Bay port announced the suspension of sea trips between the ports of Tarifa (Cadiz) and Tangier today, Friday, March 6, due to bad weather caused by the storm "Regina".
According to data published on the portal dedicated to passengers belonging to the port authority, the shipping companies 'Africa Morocco Link' (AML) and 'Balearia' decided to suspend the trips departing via this line from eight o'clock in the morning. On the other hand, the port of Algeciras does not expect, at this stage, any disturbances in its sea trips with the port of Tangier Med, where activities are expected to continue normally. The port of Tarifa had recorded, during this week, several cancellations on the line connecting with Tangier city, due to strong winds and high waves in the Strait of Gibraltar.
