Aziz Akhannouch, the head of government and a leader in the National Rally of Independents party, announced his party's aspiration to win the legislative elections scheduled for September 23, expressing his confidence in the support of voters and their families.
This came during a large party meeting organized by the National Rally of Independents today, Monday, in the Azilal province, in the presence of the party's president, Mohammed Chaouki, and a number of its leaders. Akhannouch said that his party "will win, God willing, on September 23," linking this to the voters' trust in the party and the nation.
Akhannouch called on citizens to participate in the upcoming elections and head to the ballot boxes to choose their representatives and those who will lead the government, emphasizing the importance of choosing those who have the ability to implement programs, not just make promises. He considered that the implementation of strategies remains the most important aspect of governmental work.
The head of government reviewed aspects of the government's mandate, pointing to the implementation of a number of programs and reforms, despite what he described as the difficulty of managing public affairs over the past five years. These include direct social support, compulsory health insurance, and housing support, in addition to reforms in the education and health sectors.
Akhannouch also touched upon the achievements of the government's work in the Beni Mellal-Khénifra region, particularly concerning water, irrigation water, and support for herders. He concluded his speech by affirming his support for his party's candidates, praising them for their "reasonableness" and advocacy for the demands of the residents, and stressing that the party will remain by their side to support them in meeting the expectations of citizens.
