The Chabab de Soualem sports club submitted an official protest letter to the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, demanding urgent intervention to investigate what it described as "serious violations" by the National League of Professional Football, against the backdrop of several financial and administrative files that the club considers unfair to it.
The club's management office, represented by the president of the sports company, explained that this step came after a series of unsuccessful attempts to communicate with the professional league, pointing out that the club did not receive the full establishment grant for the sports company, despite being one of the first clubs to adopt this system in 2022. It only received two million dirhams out of seven million dirhams allocated for this purpose, while the other clubs received the full amount. The statement added that the league did not provide any official clarification regarding the reasons for not disbursing the rest of the grant despite repeated correspondence and meetings. The club also complained about the delay in disbursing the third installment of the television transport grant for the 2024/2025 season, which was supposed to amount to two million dirhams. It only received an amount less than 160 million centimes after the end of the season, specifically in July 2025, i.e. after the start of the following season. The club considered that this delay affected its financial situation, especially during a period when it was fighting to stay and playing a barrage match against Olympique de Dcheira, while its opponent received the grant on time, which it considered a breach of the principle of equal opportunities. In a related context, the statement pointed out that the club also did not receive the grant from the Casablanca-Settat regional council for the year 2025, estimated at 150 million centimes, despite the donor confirming that it had transferred the amount to the league before the end of last year. It added that the club is still waiting for the transfer of this grant until March 2026 without any official response from the league regarding the reasons for the delay. The club also addressed the file of qualifying winter transfer players for the year 2026, where it confirmed that the league refused to qualify a number of new contracts, claiming that there were final financial disputes worth 49 million centimes, despite the club's proposal to deduct this amount from its dues to the league, whether from the television transport grant or the regional grant. The statement explained that the league, in return, qualified players for other clubs that had larger financial disputes, which the club considered "a double standard." The management office of the Chabab de Soualem sports company concluded its statement by emphasizing its determination to follow all legal procedures to defend the club's rights, reiterating its call to the president of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation for urgent intervention in order to resolve the existing problem with the professional league and reveal the circumstances of these files.
